Original, functional, complete WWII German Luftwaffe AK39 Wrist Compass (Armkompaß) Fl.23235-1 – 2nd Mode. The leather is like new supple and original excellent condition as well. A model AK 39 (Armkompass AK 39) was used for a pilot's orientation upon bailing out or after forced landings over sea or any unknown areas. This example has the extension leather band double buckle for optional wear over a flight suit.
